Monsmade gets new look and features

Mons's Bakery and Mon's Made changed the design and splitt the content of their web pages. From now on you can find all Bread, Pickles and Ham at Mon's Bakery. It's own domain and it's joint business.

The former domain monsmade.com refers now to Mon's Blog which presents news from all over Thailand and Asia.

Another part of the website is Mon's Gallery. In this Part Mon is showing Travel Images from Thailand, Burma, Laos, India, Cambodia and more.

Last, but I think a very easy and nice shop is Mon's Shop. Here you will find ethnic handicrafts, postcards and many more items and ideas for gifts.

Have fun browsing it.

Guitar Man - Chiang Mai

Making Music is one of the pleasures I have. Mostly I make music with my friends at the studio. It is fun to create your own songs or arange some popular songs new.Fun on stage

Very often, after our musical workout we all go to visit the Guitar Man, listen to different style of music and try to jam with the musicians over there.
Recently the Guitar Man gets a new owner (Nick from UK), he is pretty good and he has his own style of interpreting his favourite songs. And belief it or not, this guy put money into the stage and its equipement. A good sound is guaranteed. I think every musician in town should visit this nice Music Pub and jam with Nick, Thum, Pavel and other people there.

I do it and it is fun for most of the time.

Privacy and Internet

Security is only for the Officials

Update your Virus Scanner, don't subscribe to many newsletters and do not even think about a Web Blog.
It is just making me sad when I get all this useless commands I into my email or at my Blog. If you have something to say, than say it, if not please do not put a trackback to a site of nice bloggers. This is just some stupid way of creating traffic. I consider this as bad manners.

But
not enough, not even spammers visiting our blog, now we getting watched by big brother and other officials. FBI, CIA and many other organisations are using blog information to picture you. Why ? Because you are dangerous if you say something "they" don't like to hear ? Or do "they" just want to make a profile of you, for selling this information to some spammers ?
Ether way, I do not understand why we do have to accept such situation. I would say whenever we get a person to know we should Spam them back, all of us, so their surfers are busy for a while.

Friends

Friends are people
who accept your past,
love you in the present
and
stay with you in the future

I would love to say this about my friends in Thailand, but some how does the world turns different in this country.
It should be more like

Friends are people
who talk to others about your past,
use you in the present
and
disappear in the future

I by myself learned to be like this as well, isn't it frightened.
This night I thought about this and I wrote this words to wake you all up. Remember -  the shortest way between two person is a smile.

A Night Out

Last night was a special night, we (The Band Changing Faces) wanted to meet up with 3 new musicians, to share some private time together. And what day is better for working people than Friday night.
But ! Last night was a special night, because every Restaurant, Bar or Music Club was closed, or did not sell any alcohol.
Big mistake from me!!! I never paid attention to the Buddhist Holidays in Thailand. And last night was the most important holiday. It is called Visakha Puja and is on the 6.th full moon day of the year, which is end of May or beginning of June. This holiday is for the birth, the enlightens and the last and final step of Lord Buddha into the Nirvana. It is celebrated with a lot of candle light.
I not only miss a funny Jam with my friends – no, I also miss the light- and colourful processions and parties in the beautiful temples of Chiang Mai.
But I promise - next year it's in my calendar.

For people who want to get more details about this holiday there is a swiss page up (German Language) with a nice story, check it out here - http://www.thaipage.ch/autor/stevens/feste/05_viskha.php
